HYPER V INSTALLATION IN WINDOWS 8:

Today we will learn how we can install Hyper v in. it is a very good option through this we can install extra windows and servers in base machine for practice and multiple operating systems. before windows 8 Hyper V only support Microsoft servers 2003, 2008, but now it support client side also that is great you don,t need to install Windows server on your base machine now.

First of all you have to activate hyper v in windows 8 for this go to control panel:

 And now click on programs and features:

 Click on turn on and off windows features:

 You can see the hyper v option now install it select it and click ok:

 After install it will say quick restart:

After computer restarted go to start and click on Hyper v manager:

A window will appear first of all we need to create a virtual switch manager:

 Click on create a virtual switch:

 Write here machine name and click ok:

Apply networking changes say yes:

 I have created my switch and now create new machine and install VM,Click on new and create new virtual machine:

Press next:

Write here the name and the path where you want to install and press next:

Select memory and next:

Select the switch which you have created and press next:

Here select the size of virtual hard drive I have typed 30 GB and next:

 Select install windows and select iso file and browse the file path and next:

And click on finish:

 Which operating system I have installed right click on it and click connect:

A window will appear like this:

Click on start:

You can see the starting windows:

Windows 7 installation is started.
